During this past month, the Langley LEO Club members have been actively participating to make a positive impact on our community. Firstly, the first senior home performance at the Langley Seniors Village was done successfully on Friday, October 26th. After long hours of practicing various instruments, such as flute, piano, saxophone and singing, members were able to perform their excellent music skills to seniors, who greatly enjoyed these performances. At the end of this month, more music performances are planned to be presented; the upcoming performances will be even better.
Next, on Halloween day, October 31st, LEO members were encouraged to celebrate school spirit by showing up at the LEO meeting at lunch in creative and fun costumes. Numerous members were enthusiastic and were filled with school spirit; many competed for the best dressed award.
As the final months of the year 2012 approach us, the Langley LEO Club members will continue to try their best to make the best of this year and be a part of our school and community. Thank you to each and every LEO member!
