Our school is hosting our annual Talent Show again in R.E Mountain, on November 26, 2012. The Talent Show is a great opportunity (hosted by the wonderful student council) for you to showcase your talents and help spread school spirit.
Every year, talented and enthused students sign up to audition for the talent show. Then, auditions take place, and the best of the auditions are selected to perform at the talent show. In the previous years, performances included dance, singing, beat boxing, drumming, musical ensembles, and many other memorable acts.
All kinds of talents are welcome at the Talent Show. Here, you have the opportunity to present your talents, hobbies, or interests to the school, and in doing so, you might end up inspiring others to do the same. Additionally, joining will give you more experience for future performances, interviews, oral presentations, etc. Public speaking and presentations are one of the key factors in doing well in school, work, and society in general, so every opportunity given to exercise this skill is a valuable one.
This year , the auditions will be taking place on the 19th , 20th , and 21st of November. If you are interested in participating in this show, the audition sign-up sheet will be available in the front office. Similar to the previous years of the talent show, there will be prizes given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, who will be chosen by the judges. Also, the talent show will be hosted in the Gym this year, instead of in the Drama room.
